We are pleased to offer our new commercial size plaster frames and outlet boxes.

Whether used separately or together, they incorporate a host of features to suit the most demanding installations.

The plaster frame, made of 20 GA galvanized steel measures 16 x 12-1/2"¹, allowing a centerhole up to 12-1/4". The 1-5/16" high side walls each contain four slots along their length, offering maximum support when used with our bar hangers². This plaster frame is also available with end walls and bar hanger slots on all four sides for increased versatility. Two 1/8" holes at the mid-point along each side also permit our offset and butterfly brackets to be riveted on permitting vertical adjustment. Four sets of holes allow our roto-clips to be riveted, evenly spaced about the centerhole. And finally, each end of the plaster frame can have holes to accept either this large outlet box at either or both ends, or our standard size outlet box #1247, (4-7/8" x 3-1/8" x 1-3/4").
Thee galvanized steel outlet box measures a generous 7" wide x 5-1/8" tall x 3" deep, and contains matching holes for riveting to the plaster frame. A snap-on cover and multiple 7/8" knockout holes simplify hook-up. The box contains side grooves to accept an internal divider should a ballast or transformer need to be isolated from the connections. The internal divider contains two ¼" built-in wire holes, two 3/16" holes, and two additional #8-32 extruded and tapped holes for hardware mounting.
