Il est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement disponible dans une vari\u00e9t\u00e9 d\u2019\u00e9paisseurs sous forme de feuille ou bobine. Le processus r\u00e9sulte d\u2019une couche de zinc de chaque c\u00f4t\u00e9 de l\u2019acier qui adh\u00e8re \u00e9troitement \u00e0 l\u2019acier gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la formation d\u2019une couche de liaison en alliage fer-zinc, qui est form\u00e9e par un processus de diffusion tandis que la bande d\u2019acier chauff\u00e9e est en contact avec le zinc fondu.<\/p><p>Le rev\u00eatement est fourni en diff\u00e9rentes \u00e9paisseurs, class\u00e9es en onces de rev\u00eatement de zinc par pied carr\u00e9. Conform\u00e9ment \u00e0 la norme ASTM A 653 \/ A 653M, les \u00e9paisseurs minimales peuvent varier d\u2019aucun minimum, G01, \u00e0 3,60 onces \/ pied carr\u00e9, G360.
